November General Election

The November General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Below are answers to frequently asked questions regarding voting options that are available to registered voters in Michigan:

Questions about Absentee Voting:

How do I get my ballot sent to me for every election? If you would like to be added to the Permanent Voter Ballot list, contact the Clerk’s Office at (517) 641-6728 or info@bathtownship.us.

I will be away at college or temporarily away from Bath Township. How do I get my ballot? A registered voter can go to the Michigan Voter Information Center to request an Absentee Voter Ballot. A ballot will be mailed to the address you provide.

I will be at my winter residence. How do I get my ballot? If you are going to be away from your Bath Township address within 40 days of any election, you must contact the Clerk’s Office to let us know where to send your ballot. The Post Office cannot forward a ballot. Contact us at (517) 641-6728 or info@bathtownship.us.

Questions about Early Voting:

When does Early Voting Start?  Registered voters are offered nine consecutive days of Early Voting beginning on the second Saturday before the election and ending on the Sunday before the election, for at least eight hours a day. Check the Clinton County website for Early Voting hours prior to every election.

Where are the Early Voting sites in Clinton County? Early Voting sites in Clinton County are the DeWitt Township Hall and the Bingham Township Hall. These early voting sites serve all registered voters in Clinton County.

Questions about Election Day Voting:

Where do I vote on Election Day?   Election Day voting always takes place in your designated precinct. Refer to your Voter Information card or go to the Michigan Voter Information Center to confirm your precinct location.
