Bath Charter Township has six rental facilities for residents and guests to enjoy. The Bath Community Center, the Senior Center, Library Center Meeting Room, James Couzens Park Gazebo, Wiswasser Park Pavilion and the Soccer Park Pavilion are all available to citizens on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We highly recommend that you contact our office to check the availability of the facility or pavilion for your requested date and time.

Rental Policy

Bath Charter Township has established this policy for the purpose of conveying the rules, regulations and procedures regarding the use of Township facilities.  This policy covers the use of the Bath Community Center, Bath Senior Center, Library Center, James Couzens Park Gazebo, Soccer Park Pavilion, and Wiswasser Park Pavilion.

Please print and complete the Rental Agreement and sign where indicated.

  • Review the Rental Policy carefully.
  • Dates become secure once payment has been received.
  • The security deposit MUST be paid in order to confirm the rental reservation.
  • The rental fee is due the last business day prior to the event and during normal business hours. The key can also be picked-up at that time.
  • If full payment is not received by the date of the event, the rental contract will be cancelled without notice.

After you’ve completed the Rental Agreement, you have three options:

  • Mail with your check to Bath Charter Township.
  • Deliver with your check to the Township Offices or place in our 24-hour drop box by the front doors.
  • Pay at the Township Offices by credit card. Service fee will be charged based on amount.

Bath Community Center

The Bath Charter Township Community Center is a multi-use rental facility located at 5959 Park Lake Road in Bath, just northwest of Park Lake. The Community Center has kitchen facilities and can hold parties up to 157 people.

Senior Center

The Bath Charter Township Senior Center is a multi-use rental facility that has the capacity for parties up to 85 people.

Please note: at this time the Senior Center Kitchen is not available for rental for personal use / private events.

Wiswasser Park Pavilion

Pavilion (24′ x 48′) for rent with seating for up to 60 (picnic tables). Pavilion features electricity, and a grill.

Wiswasser Park is a 1.5 acre site located at 6499 Park Lake Road (east side of Park Lake across from the Rickard Boat Launch) in Bath. The park provides a place for children and adults alike to enjoy. Park amenities include a barrier-free playground, horseshoe pits, and a family-friendly restroom.

James Couzens Memorial Park Gazebo

Large gazebo for rent with seating (picnic tables) and access to power.

This two acre park located at 13751 Main Street, just south of downtown Bath, is the site of the Bath School Disaster Memorial and State Historical Marker.

James Couzens Memorial Park has been the site of festivals, reunions, outdoor concerts and the Farmers Market.

Soccer Park Pavilion

The 4.3 acre site, located off Gary Lane, hosts practices and games for youth soccer programs from age four through high school.

The Bath Soccer Club also holds in annual soccer tournament each July at the Soccer Park.
