The Clinton County Road Commission (CCRC) in partnership with Bath Township will be constructing new sidewalks in downtown Bath, sidewalks in various locations along Webster Road, and repaving Webster Road from I-69 to Clark Road.

Sidewalks are being constructed to provide connections between residential areas, downtown Bath, and Bath Community Schools. Webster Road is being resurfaced due to pavement deterioration. The improvements are necessary to ensure safe and reliable transportation systems for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians.

Traffic Detours and Delays

Motorists should anticipate traffic congestion and delays within the project vicinity during construction. Local traffic with a destination within the construction limits will be maintained, however may be periodically restricted due to construction activities. Residential access will vary depending on the timing and location as the work progresses throughout the project. Please plan your travel routes and times carefully to account for probable traffic delays. Webster Road will be completed in phases from Drumheller Road to Clark Road and I-69 to Drumheller Road. Webster Road will be closed to through traffic during construction and a detour will be posted. Posted detours will be Drumheller Road to Watson Road to Clark Road and Drumheller Road to Nichols Road to Park Lake Road.

Your patience with this road construction project is greatly appreciated. CCRC and Bath Township understand this work is disruptive to the community, businesses, schools, property owners, and Township services, however this disruption is temporary and every effort will be made to construct the project in an efficient manner to reduce impacts to the community.
