Bath Fest (similar to the former Bath Days) will take place on Friday, August 1, 2025 through Sunday, August 3, 2025 in James Couzens Memorial Park, Main Street, and the Bath Four Corners area.

The Bath Charter Township Board of Trustees and the Recreation Advisory Committee are proud to bring back classic parts of the former festival such as the bathtub races and parade, while adding new activities like a car show, 5K walk/run, and a cornhole tournament.

Sponsorships

Individual, organization, local business, and corporate sponsorships of various levels are available to show your support and advertise for your business.

Sponsorship submissions must be received by Friday, July 11 at 5:00 p.m. Sponsorship submissions can be processed online at www.bathtownshipmi.recdesk.com/Community/Home. Submissions can also be processed in-person at the Township Offices (14480 Webster Road) with the completed sponsorship form and payment (cash, check, or card) or mailed with payment (cash or check) to:

Bath Fest Sponsorship Levels

1. Rubber Duckies – $100.00

  • Your name/business listed in the program as a sponsor.
  • Your name/business listed on the Township website as a sponsor.
  • Your name/business listed with other sponsors on one (1) Facebook post.

2. Soaps N Suds – $250.00

  • Your name/business listed in the program as a sponsor.
  • Your name/business listed on the website as a sponsor (including a hyperlink to your website).
  • Your name/business listed with other sponsors on two (2) Facebook posts (including a hyperlink to your business Facebook page).

3. Green Light – $500.00

  • All Level 2 benefits plus:
  • A ¼ page advertisement for your business in the program.
  • Individual recognition for your business on a Facebook post.
  • Five (5) yard signs placed at Bath Fest events (12” x 18”).

  • Free entry into the parade with your commercial vehicle/vehicle with your business logo.

Event Sponsorships (Limited Sponsors Available Per Event)

  • All Level 3 benefits plus:
  • Full page advertisement for your business in the program (instead of ¼ page).
  • Print 3 – 8’ banner for your business at the specific event.
  • Free entry into the parade with your commercial vehicle/vehicle with your business logo.

1. Car Show (2 sponsors) – $1,250.00 (Be the special guest who passes out the trophies)

2. Cornhole Tournament (1 sponsor) – $1,500.00 (Receive free entry for 2 teams)

Important Dates

Bathtub Race Open House: Tuesday, June 24 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Bath Community Center (5959 Park Lake Road) – Q&A for registration packet, race rules, and information about race day.

 

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, July 25 at 5:00 p.m. – Registration packets and registration fees can be processed online at www.bathtownshipmi.recdesk.com/Community/Home or at the Township Offices (14480 Webster Road) with cash, check, or card. Check In/Trial Runs/Inspections: Friday, August 1 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Main Street. Your entire team must be checked in with their race tub.

 

Race Day Check In: Saturday, August 2 from 4:30 – 4:45 p.m. on Main Street. Your entire team must be checked in with their race tub.

 

Bathtub Race: Saturday, August 2 – Race starts at 5:00 p.m. on Main Street.

 

Bathtub Race Official Rules
  • Each member of your team must be at least 18 years old.
  • Race tub must have held water or have been able to hold water.
  • Race tub must have operational steering and breaking components.
  • Race tub must have a push bar mounted to the back.
  • Your team must consist of 1 driver and 2 pushers.

Bath Fest 5K Walk/Run Race

We’re excited to announce the Bath Fest 5K run/walk race on Saturday, August 2 at 8:00 a.m. This 5K run/walk will be held at the Bath High School Cross Country Course. This is a family friendly event, all ages and abilities are welcome! Registration opens on Monday, May 19 at 8:00 a.m. on the Bath Fest 5K webpage.

Entry Fee: $30 early registration until July 20 (shirts guaranteed), $35 from July 21 through August 1 (limited shirts), $40 on race day (no shirts)

Race Swag: Participants will receive an exclusive race t-shirt if registered by July 20. Shirts are limited in sizes after that date. Shirts will be available in both youth and adult sizes.

Awards: 1st place to the overall male and female winners. 1st place to age group winners male and female: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

Results will be live and texted to you upon completion of the race. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
