Advertisement for Bids: James Couzens Memorial Park Cupola Project

Sealed bids will be received by Bath Charter Township DDA until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read.

The Bath Township DDA is looking to hire a contractor that can assist with a project in Couzens Park in the Downtown area. Specifically, the idea is to lift the historic cupola off the ground and place it on a new, decorative concrete base that includes all of the names of the victims in the 1927 school disaster.

Annual Reports Available

Township Department Annual Reports Available Online

Early in 2017, Township staff began providing department annual reports to the Board of Trustees (BOT).

These reports to the Board serve multiple purposes:

  • Provide overview about department operations.
  • Help identify any gaps between department, committee, and BOT expectations.
  • Initiate dialogue for common vision between department, committee, and BOT.
  • Encourage planning and guidance by BOT.

While the contents vary by department, most include a brief overview; recent history, trends, accomplishments, and news; any current issues or challenges; and short and long term goals.

Weather-Related Closings

A reminder from Bath Charter Township about weather-related closings: If Bath Community Schools close due to weather, then Parks & Recreation activities will be cancelled, and the Senior Center will be closed. When this happens, we will also announce it to the public on the Township’s website and Facebook.
