COVID-19 Office Updates

In light of the community-wide spread of COVID-19 and the latest emergency order from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), the Bath Charter Township offices and the Bath Township Police Department Administrative office will be closed to the public at least through December 8, 2020 in the interest of community and employee health.

Our Township offices will be available for assistance via phone and email during normal business hours. Residents are encouraged to utilize our drop box, mail, or online payment options for bill payments or other business. Some staff will be available remotely to assist residents. Departments working remotely include Assessing, Planning & Zoning, Communications, Ordinance Compliance/Fire Marshal, Senior Services, and Parks & Recreation. Township phone numbers, online payment options, and additional departmental service information are listed below.

The Bath Township Police Department Administrative office will be available via phone and email on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. For emergencies and non-emergencies in Clinton County, please dial 9-1-1. For non-emergency calls outside of Clinton County, please dial (989) 224-6792.

Our outdoor park facilities are still available to residents, although we have already prepared them for winter (no restrooms, docks, etc.). Our group fitness classes have been cancelled, including Zumba and Yoga.

While the Township offices closure will be in place for an initial three weeks, there is a possibility that the closure will be extended based on the status of COVID-19 cases in the local area and current public health directives. Administrative and emergency management staff will continue to actively monitor, plan, and communicate about this situation in the coming weeks.

Please continue to check this page for further updates from the Township.

Online Services Encouraged

While our offices are currently closed to the public, please remember that we have staff available by phone and email to answer questions and we encourage our residents to make payments via online or the drop box outside of our building.

Resources for Seniors

Due to the susceptibility of the age group served by the Bath Township Senior Center to COVID-19, the Bath Township Senior Center has remained closed, and will stay so into the near future. NO congregate meal sites (similar to our Center) are open at this time in our State. Guidance from the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (and being strictly followed by TCOA) is that meal sites will NOT REOPEN until at least 60 days AFTER the State enters Phase 6. Our region of the state is currently in Phase 4. Those age 60+ can still arrange for meal pick-up by calling Tasha Stetler at (517) 887-1393. Participants only have to provide their name, phone number, address and birth date.
